Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.


  • Work with applicable department hiring manager to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
  • Research and understand fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates.
  • Write open job role descriptions, identify best recruiting strategies and post open positions.
  • Screen candidates, select qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase.
  • Checks candidates’ references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.
  • Manage all aspects of the prescreening process including assessments and background checks.
  • Counsels hiring managers on the interview and hiring process.
  • Organize job open houses and other networking opportunities.
  • Follow up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Prior HVAC knowledge a plus but not required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of human resources or related experience required.
  • Prior sales experience a plus but not required.
