The HVAC Service Training Program is an 8-week paid training opportunity designed to offer a comprehensive blend of classroom education, customer relationships, and hands-on field technical training. This paid program provides valuable learning experiences that foster professional growth and skill development in the HVAC industry.

Our HVAC Service Training program offers qualified participants the unique opportunity to gain real-world skills and knowledge in a professional environment while contributing to the success of our mission. We are currently seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our HVAC Service Training Program. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and develop skills in the HVAC Field. Trainees will work closely with seasoned professionals, participate in training, and apply their learning in real-world scenarios.

Opportunity to Become A Future Technician

Upon successful completion of the HVAC Service Training Program, Trainees can be considered to become Maintenance Service Technicians. Trainees will also receive an HVAC T.F. O’Brien certificate recognizing their achievement and an EPA Certification upon completion.

What Training and Development Activities Will I Do?

  • Participate in classroom training sessions and workshops to develop the skills needed to excel in the
    HVAC field.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations, tasks, and projects as directed by mentors, trainers, and
    department managers.
  • Work closely with various teams and departments to gain insight into the organization's overall
    function and responsibilities.
  • Observe and learn from senior staff members, gaining valuable industry-specific knowledge.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions in brainstorming sessions and contribute to real-world challenges.
  • Document progress and provide regular updates on your learning and development. Receive
    constructive feedback from mentors.

Key Skills to thrive in the T.F. O’Brien HVAC Service Training Program

  • High school diploma or equivalent; current students or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • A mechanical or hands-on mindset.
  • Must be able to commit to 40 hours a week during the 8-week program duration.
  • Passing a background check and drug screening.
  • A valid and clean Driver's license is required. (This will be checked before being accepted into the program)
  • A minimum of 4 years of driving experience is required, and be over the age of 21.
